Relative weightage of all the components of the Admission Process; academic achievements in matriculation, intermediate or its equivalents/ degree examination, Entrance Test or its alternatives, interviews and other accomplishments, are added up to arrive at the final merit list.
The top applicants on the merit list will be invited, in writing, to join the first year MBBS class. No formal waiting list will be announced, but all the remaining applicants stay on the waiting list. Any dropouts from the class will be replaced from the waiting list, on merit, until the end of the first fortnight of the first term.
Applicants will be informed of the selection individually by letter as soon as the final list is ready.
Results of the Entrance Tests would be available on the College website within days of the test. Applicants would, however, be informed of results by mail in 2 weeks after the test.
Confirmation of Admission
Selected students will be required to confirm their intent to join the college by depositing the admission fee, tuition fee and other fee as prescribed, within 15 days of announcement of selection. If a seat in the first year class is not confirmed by this date, it will be offered to the next person on the waiting list. No further claim of admissions by the incumbent applicant will be admissible in such an eventuality.
