To accomplish the task we therefore believe in using multiple strategies, including lectures, interactive sessions, small group sessions, tutorials, picture sessions, demonstration & performance of practical procedures by the students so that they can use all their learning capabilities & skills to master the subject. The students are also introduced to clinical teaching thus the vertical integration helps to develop a better understanding of the subject.
As the doctor's medical activity is embedded in the current laws, medical students must be informed about the legal norms affecting them, and especially about the legal basis of the doctor-patient relationship. Beyond the personal care for the patient, practising doctors are compelled by laws and regulations to fulfil a number of other duties. Because of its long tradition of providing expert witnesses and reports, forensic medicine is often accurately called the mother science of the evaluating branch of medicine. It is also a focal point in matters of medical ethics, representing as it does the responsibility of medical science towards the public. This is reflected in the fact that medical ethics has been integrated into the forensic course programme.
