Pharmacology is taught in the 3rd year of Medical College and 2nd Professional, MBBS, university exam is held at the end of 3rd year. Learning hours are 300, which are divided into lectures 100 hrs and Practical/Small Group Learning 200 hrs.
The ultimate aim of pharmacology teaching is to induce in students the capability of providing service to patients in a competent and human manner.

To expose the students to representative drugs from major classes.

To produce such students who should demonstrate the application of such basic concepts on the use of drugs in a clinical situation
