Programs Offered
     
The Section of Physiology is actively engaged in teaching the first and second year MBBS students. The courses offered are distributed in first and second years in accordance with the syllabus proposed by Higher Education Commission, Pakistan Medical and Dental Council and the Bahria University. Each academic year in turn is divided into three terms. Different modes of instruction e.g. lectures ,small group tutorials, student seminars, lab sessions are utilized in order to impart the knowledge of the principles of Physiology and their applications in medicine.
The Section teaches the students of BScN program offered by the Shifa College of Nursing.

Apart from teaching the medical and nursing students, the Section is in the process of initiating graduate program in Physiology; our proposed M Phil and PhD programs have been approved by the Bahria University. Presently we have four graduate studies in FCPS in our section; one is leaving for PhD in Physiology at Liverpool University UK.
