Financial Assistance and
Merit Scholarships
The college is managed on
a “not-for-profit” philosophy. Consequently, in its formative years, it will
not be possible to offer significant financial help to needy students but as
the sponsorships for students assistance build up, limited financial help
may become available in future. However, the College will continue to
encourage and promote academic excellence amongst its students through merit
scholarships and awards.
Merit Scholarships and
Awards
In line with its philosophy of
promoting quality and recognizing merit, the College has instituted Merit
Awards and Scholarships of following amounts.
For
New
Entrants,
it is based on performance in the Shifa Entrance Test
Merit
Scholarship of 100,000
For an achievement of over 80% score in Shifa
Entrance Test
Merit
Scholarship of Rs. 50,000.00
For an achievement of over 75% score in Shifa
Entrance Test

on Board,
the awards are based on their performance in annual examinations
Merit
Scholarship of Rs. 150,000
For securing at least 85% aggregate in
the
Annual Professional Examination in any year.

Scholarship of Rs. 100,000
For securing at least 80%
aggregate in the
Annual Professional Examination in any year.

Scholarship of Rs. 50,000
For securing at least 75%
aggregate in the
Annual Professional Examination in any year.

Citations and Awards
Additionally, Merit Citations
and Awards would be given away for Excellence in individual subjects as well
as in co-curricular activities.

Ibn Sena Gold
Medal
This is an exclusive award of high distinction and is awarded to the top
student, amongst those who score at least 75% in aggregate over the 5 year
period.
(that is 75% of the total score of 4500 marks of all annual examinations).
A student would be eligible
for only one financial award,
in one category, at any time.
