BSN Degree Program 2011

Shifa College of Nursing offers a 4-year BS Nursing program which was established in 2004 with the commitment to provide nursing students with sound knowledge, and competency to provide quality nursing care to individuals, families and communities.  The College graduated its first batch of BSc. Nursing Students under Faculty of Health Sciences,  Bahria University in December 1997.  Altogether 18 students were graduated, 13 male and 5 female students.

Curriculum

The framework of BS Nursing and Post-RN BSN education at SCN is based on the competency model. This curriculum will prepare nurses to use knowledge from science and humanities for making critical decisions and providing holistic care concerning the physical, emotional and spiritual well being of individual, families and communities.

The curriculum is in line with the Regulations of the Pakistan Nursing Council and international standards for B.Sc.N degree programs.

The entire course is spread over 8 semesters.
